Eastern Shore Presbyterian Church

We are traditional when it comes to what we believe. We are committed to the full authority of the Bible. We affirm the classical, historic doctrines of the Christian faith. We hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger Catechism and the Westminster Shorter Catechism. We believe that man is sinful and separated from God and that salvation is offered to all people by grace through faith in Christ.

At the same time, we are a progressive church. We are eager to present the Gospel (good news of life with God in Christ) to all people - no matter the color of their skin, ethnicity, socio-economic status, or religious background. We are committed to making disciples and to applying the unchanging truths of the Bible to an ever-changing world. We are a part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Loving God. Loving Others. Reaching Out.

Loving God is a belief that God should be the center of our lives and of our worship.  In everything we do in ministry, we endeavor to be God-centered. Loving others is founded on Jesus' words, "Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another."  We seek to be a place where others say of us, "How they love one another."  We also reach out to those outside our doors in our community and around the world.  In all things we are pursuing a faith that is Loving God, Loving Others and Reaching Out.

  • New to ESPC?

We love to meet our guests and share with them what God is doing in our church family. For over 25 years, it has been our mission to share the Good News with folks on the Eastern Shore.

  • Living in Community

Our small group ministry is aimed at fostering deep relationships that serve to encourage you toward maturity as a follower of Christ. Small groups are a vital means of cultivating genuine relationships in the body of Christ that help us "flesh out" life as Christians.

  • Sunday Morning

In our Sunday morning worship services, we respond to all God has done for us by reading scripture and hearing it taught, praying, singing, confessing our sin, reciting together ancient creeds of the church and receiving the sacraments.  The 8:30 a.m. service is traditional and uses classic hymns and instrumentation.  The 11:00 a.m. blended service uses most of the same liturgical elements combined with more modern worship songs and instrumentation.
